Collection Donation Guidelines

The Mammoth Ski Museum accepts donations of skiing art and literature on a descetionary basis. Although we may not be actively seeking items to add to our collection, we encourage you to contact us to let us know what you have. At the present time our guidelines for items are: 1) Art & literature must relate to skiing and 2) They must depict skiing in some way.

If you would like to donate an item to our collection, it is recommended that you obtain an appraisal by a qualified appraiser in order to recieve a tax deductible benefit. The Mammoth Ski Museum is not qualified to place a value on your donation.

If you are not looking to recieve a tax benefit with your donation, rather you would just like to see your donation find a safe home for future generation to enjoy, then we would be happy to accept your donation so long as it meets our criteria.

Througout the season or prior to an upcoming exhibit we periodically seek out items for our exbhibits. Currently we are not looking for anything, but if we are we will post our "wanted" list below.
